Perfecto
zig-zag press feed system enables you to produce blanks of any
shape up to 36" wide, allowing a single die press to produce
parts that would otherwise require a multiple die setup. It also
allows you to stamp more blanks from every coil and save up to
15% of waste material.
Mounting
directly to the press enhances rigidity and helps deliver repeatability
of ±.002" as well as excellent final part quality. Customized
electronic controls are programmed to coordinate feed speed, feed
progression, and lateral movement with just seconds of setup,
while also permitting adjustments during operation.
The sliding
feed mechanism and its two servo motors are mounted on linear
bearing rails. One servo actuates the multi-lead screw that provides
lateral indexing of the feed assembly. The other servo controls
the material's forward motion into the press with a precision
gear box.
The Perfecto
zig-zag system offers excellent versatility, accommodating all
types of metal coils in varying thicknesses and any practical
width, and permitting independent adjustment of forward and lateral
movements to meet changing conditions.
