Efficient coil handling is the first step towards increasing press uptime and productivity. Perfecto coil handling equipment allows coils up to 80,000 lbs. to be loaded quickly and safely on to the reels.

Coil Cars
Perfecto coil cars operate on tracks using hydraulic power, holding the coil securely in a "V" deck in the center of the car while moving even the heaviest coils (10,000 to 80,000 lbs.) safely into the loading position. The coil is then automatically centered on a mandrel, raised to the proper height, and placed on the reel. An optional rotating "V" deck allows the coil to be turned 180° to align the coil for proper loading on the reel.

The Perfecto Model LC30 features 360° rotating deck that aligns and loads the coil onto the reel mandrel.

Coil Cradles
Perfecto coil cradles handle coils up 50,000 lbs. with material thicknesses ranging from .090" to .625." They provide an alternative to mandrel operations with several advantages including substantial space savings and fast loading by overhead crane with no special machinery
